The third Sony Ericsson Open (formerly known as the Nasdaq-100 Open) will take place on the Island of Key Biscayne in Miami, Florida and is set to be played March 24 April 4, 2010. The top 96 men and women in the world are lining up to dethrone 2009 champions Andy Murray and Victoria Azarenka.
Murray became the first British player to reach the final in the Sony Ericsson Open’s 25-year history. He is also only the fifth player to win the Sony Ericsson Open title at least two times.
On the women's side, Victoria Azarenka capped an unforgettable fortnight, surprising Serena Williams to win her third and by far biggest Sony Ericsson WTA Tour singles title at the Sony Ericsson Open.
